Alright, listen up, everyone.

I'm gonna start with the response at Cody, since that's the one that sticks out.  Estelore, you may claim that you have an IQ over 9,000 (and don't you DARE correct me and assume I'm not exaggerating), but not all of the members here have been writing for as long as some of us.  Don't fuck with Cody, and don't fuck with anyone for the way they write.  Cody has improved IMMENSELY from RPing here as a writer, well before you showed up, and I don't need to see you correct him like that.  YOU were being fucking rude when you treated him like that.  He wasn't taking a side against you, just telling you to post.  OBVIOUSLY, he was talking IC, because he was RESPONDING to an OOC post of yours.  Put your IQ to use, and don't make this mistake again.  There are some things I will tolerate, but I WILL NOT have you putting down members of my site who honestly try, and are improving.  None of us here have an IQ of 190, but we are doing a hell of a lot more with our IQ than you seem to think, and I absolutely refuse to watch someone that I have PERSONALLY been assisting in his RPing get bitched at for his punctuation. 

Cody, I give you so much respect for responding as you did to that.  That was bullshit, and nobody here better EVER fuck with you over your writing again, especially if they're not better than ME.  That's the thing.  If you can't out-write me, then you better not say a DAMN THING in a negative fashion to someone else who doesn't write as well as you do, because there are a LOT of things I can say about your writing, Estelore. 

Now, here's the deal.  I don't need useless fucking drama on this board because we've seen enough of it, so I'm only going to address this issue once with everyone. 

Estelore.  Yes, you sound snooty and pretentious.  All the time.  I don't CARE what your IQ is, because I've experienced so much shit in my lifetime that I understand that IQ doesn't matter.  At ALL.  Honestly?  I don't believe you.  If that little girl is listed as having an IQ in Stephen Hawking's range, at 152, then I just plain don't believe you.  If Hawking's IQ is anything near 152 and you have a 190, then there's something wrong with the fucking world.  To top that, IQ DOESN'T MATTER.  I could have an IQ of 100, and work hard and do SO MUCH, and your IQ wouldn't do shit.  IQ is POTENTIAL, not smarts.  You may have lots of potential, but you don't know shit about people, and your writing suffers for it.  Yes, I can say that.  You also think that AHAR writes good shit.  Yeah, I thought that three years ago.  I don't anymore, because I've read so much that blows her away so badly that she doesn't even rate on my radar enough for me to pick up another of her books.  I've read your writing.  You may have potential, but you're not there yet.  You know big words that don't flow.  That's great.  You may not mean it, but when you throw those words around and then TELL US WHAT THEY MEAN LIKE WE DON'T KNOW, you sound super-fucking-pretentious.  I don't talk like a genius, and I'm not a genius.  Even if I WAS, I would NEVER make a comment like "It sucks to be a genius".  And calling us 'kids'?  How old are you, actually?  Because you mentioned going to prom, and unless you're a TEACHER, you're younger than everyone on this board.  EVERYONE.  Just getting that out there.  And 'adults that have better things to do'?  Listen.  It is NOT about having 'better things to do', and we actually don't have anyone younger than college age here.  It is about what we ENJOY.  Would you tell an older man that he had better things to do than paint, or garden?  Who are YOU to say we have better things to do? 

My point is, try to show a little respect.  We're not stupid, and we don't need to be talked down to.  Stop acting like we don't know what all those words you use are.  We're not stupid.  Get it?  We know what those words mean, but we're not pretentious enough to throw them around like you do.  I could say that 'I have a delightfully mordant way about me, particularly when engaging in diplomatic affairs', or I could say that 'I end up sounding like an asshole sometimes, and I enjoy it.'  Either way, it gets the point across, but the latter sounds more like a person and less like a cheesy attempt at a Brit.  Now, Angie's way of calling you out may have been unpleasant to you, but to be honest, we were all thinking it.  In fact, we've all SAID it to each other.  You sound like you're full of shit and trying to get some awe and respect for your knowledge, but this board doesn't function on that.  It functions on straight-up honesty, writing ability and the type of knowledge that includes people skills, internet savvy, and a working common sense.  So far, you haven't displayed any of the qualities stated enough to even rate on the meter, not to mention you're NEW.  You are way too early in the game to be calling out staff members publicly.  If you have a problem, you talk to ME.  You do NOT make a public display that gets everyone involved.  Obviously, this time it blew up in your face because not a single person agreed with you because we ALL AGREED.  I could have been far more neutral about it if you hadn't already riled up most of my actively contributing members.  Next time, display some common sense, and PM me.  You're lucky that everyone who posted was fairly reasonable, because I've seen three of them totally pwn n00bs in your situation, just as I have.  Oh, and in chat?  You didn't have to 'remind administration that you weren't there for your health', because administration didn't care.  If you dislike your fellow RPers so much that you can't sit in a chat with them for a little while to talk and get some plotting/work done on characters and all, then I don't understand why you're bothering.  Administration thinks you should be in chat with your fellow members all the time, so that you can get to know them and get some plotting done.  That was another rude comment on your front, directed at ALL of us, for no reason.  Thanks.

As for everyone else?  Try to chill out on her in the future, and really guys, keep the drama on low.

See how I didn't spaz on them, Estelore?  Because they all have multiple characters and make beautiful plots.  Some of them make up my STAFF.  None of them can ban you, but they can all suggest it with some serious influence.  I hold the ban stick.  You're not going to be banned for being 'honest', as you said, but I'm going to strongly suggest that you relax on all this bragging or whatever you're doing, and focus on the game.  Prove to us that you're an awesome, contributing member, and stop acting like you're hot shit.  And seriously, if you type out a word that isn't even obscure one more time and define it for us, I'm going to start deleting those posts.  Even I find them offensive to my intelligence.  We're not children or apes, so don't treat us like we belong in a pair of diapers.

Everyone, press on.  Let's get some posting going, and I know Cody and a few of us have a big plot in the works, so keep your eyes peeled for that.  Obviously, nobody HAS to be involved, but it should be fun.   I'm going to consider this whole situation otherwise wrapped up, and anyone who still has an issue can feel free to contact me.  Any posts continuing in this vein will be deleted, and not happily.

I try to avoid minor cataclysms like this one, and look where it gets me! I get a mod yelling at me about correcting somebody, and I only put the punctuation thing in there because I honestly found it pretty dern cool! Just a comma or a colon to decide if we are cannibals and womanizers.

Cody, if I have upset you at all, I apologise most sincerely for whatever you consider(ed) to be a slight against your intellectual capacity.
I, of all people, know how bad grammar can be, but I see no bothersome fault in yours, and I have never felt the need to correct anyone's RPing (aside from my own, because I can be OCD about my spellings). Honestly, you seem to me to be one of the more sane people here. I actually enjoy playing RP with you, and I hope that my prior posts have not turned you against me.
I didn't intend ANY of this as an assault against you. The rant against Angie was EXCLUSIVELY self-defense.

Yeah, WHAT? It seemed to me that ALL board activity was dropping, not just IC, so when he requested a post, I gave him one. Forgive me for being too literal.
Sidenote: my parents have a sadistic way of saying things in a Very Very Very Literal way, and they are controlling and demanding like you wouldn't believe unless you knew them. This particular flaw in my mental makeup is likely the result of growing up with this.

Alrighty, folks. I must address this a bit more later, but now I have school. G'day.

I'm not offended, this isn't the Debacle forum over at AR (which is a lovely place huh Venom?) so I'm not gonna get bent out of shape over some one criticizing my writing. I know my writing gets kinda sketchy IC, but this is my first RP and I get too caught up in trying to play my characters and advance the plot lines than trying to make sure I turn in an A+ example of prose. But anyway, I'm not offended, you would know if I was offended because I increase my power level to OVER 9000, and attain my final form of Meatywand, at which point you would probably end up flamed off the face of the intrawebs. But anyway...no not offended at all, lets all just play..as Darren said, we have a big plot brewing that anyone will be able to jump in on in any capacity and have a good time, and thats what this is about so lets all work toward that.

Estelore, I didn't read any of the responses yet. I've been thinking about your NYPL plotting and I think I may have thought of something. I don't even need to read them as it seems to have been resolved, but I may go back at leisure and do it.

btw, when I finally DO get done if anyone comes to me with some stupid question (how many kinds of snakes are there? or... you know... something equally idiotic) I'm probably gonna disembowel them with a SPORK and then feed them their own entrails.

Estelore, I know I said that the only thing relating to this subject that I wanted to see posted was an apology to Cody.  Using that as a way to argue the shit I said really isn't a good idea.  If you have something to argue, you do it in PM so that I can handle it privately.  Otherwise, it is dropped.  Now.

Estelore, I have a question!    How old are you?  When you mentioned going to the prom, I assumed a senior in high school.  We might be around the same age if that's the case.
