I saw a yellow snake in my room after taking that shit.  There definitely was NOT a snake in my room.

Because you were dreaming with your eyes open.  You're supposed to close your eyes and stop thinking, like every other person who needs to fall asleep.  It doesn't put you to sleep, it keeps you asleep.

And because you're a freak of nature, although I doubt that anyone would ever dispute that.  Not even yourself.

LOL, no, I won't dispute that.  AND, I will tell ANYONE who takes ambien that they need to GO TO SLEEP immediately after taking it.  I obviously didn't think about the exact purpose of the medication, so I thought it would make me sleepy.

BUT I SAW A YELLOW SNAKE.  It was weird as hell, but kind of cool...in that weird way.  The clock on my wall looked like it was oozing, all Salvidor Dali-esque.  Not doing that again.

Yeah, I knew it had sketchy side effects, but didnt realize they were that strong, I didnt think a little 12mg pill would do what it did. Hell I dont even exactly remember posting that....next time everything,even the music is getting turned off before that shit....if I talked to anyone last night, I dont remember.

I haven't seen the commercial for Ambien, but I definitely want to hear the official list of side effects.  "May include dreaming with your eyes open and loss of memory.  Do not take Ambien if you are nursing, pregnant or may become pregnant.  Do not drive or operate machinery until you know how Ambien effects you."

Yeah, something like that.

You know, I remember it all, I'm pretty sure.  It was just CRAZY.  Shadows move, and fortunately, I wasn't listening to music.  I bet that was fun, but I didn't even think to try it.  Really, I think 'dreaming with your eyes open' is the absolute BEST way to describe what that shit does to your brain.

I IMed you not too long after your post and you didn't answer, though.  All I said was 'go to bed', so it wasn't like you missed out on a great conversation.

As I told Darren before, Ambien forces your brain to release saratonin, I believe, which pushes you into the dreaming state.. regardless of whether or not you've gone to bed.

I prefer doxylamine succinate (unisom, walsom [tabs, not gels]) for sleep aids, but percocets also work nicely.

Generally I just drink myself into a stupor and pass out.

Ambien is the devil, I may tell my Doctor I need something else....if I can't get anything worth my while for them off the street.
