I've never taken sleeping aids or gotten drunk off my ass (or at all).  I don't have trouble sleeping for the most part.

Yeah...well I do have the whole night owl personality, which when coupled with insomnia and some depression=NO SLEEP. I've gone 2 or 3 days with out sleep (not by choice) and it is miserable, and sometimes you start seeing shit

Ew, yeah, I can only imagine.  D:  I've only ever missed two days of sleep and it never happened again, but by the end of the second day, right before I passed out, I definitely felt like I was on some NyQuil high.  I have been on those before--my only weird experience with medicine.

All I know was that sucked, and, well, considering that it's a rare occurrence, my sympathies go out to you.  That's just crap.

Ambien is the devil, I may tell my Doctor I need something else....if I can't get anything worth my while for them off the street.

You should get a decent amount. It's hard to find someone with an Ambien scrip. I know I'd pay for 'em, lol.
