Chandra leaned back in her chair, red hair falling across bare shoulders as the fitted tube-top she wore seemed to compress to her ample chest with the open and close of the door. In short: She wasn't wearing a bra and it was obvious. Chandra didn't really care, though, and the length of her skirt pretty much could tell you that. She sipped at a Midori Sour, eyes dancing around the room as she tried to scent out the rest of the clientelle.

"Relax, Delia. Alicia thinks we're at a sleepover... can you believe it? Dierdra hopes I'll straighten out and start acting more like you.. and Alicia wants you to act more like me. I guess your mom wins tonight." She grinned and batted her lashes as a man passed by the table.

Delia shifted uncomfortably. She was pretty, sure, but she wasn't much compared to Chandra. She had been talked into a fitted, stretchy sort of shirt that laced in the front like a corset, but was somewhat more tasteful. Chandra'd made her squeeze into some black leather pants, too, and then put mascara and  gloss on her face to try and play up her gentle, girlish features. Delia came out looking like the most innocent dominatrix you ever did see.. and it was bringing more attention to her than she'd have liked.

Cerberus

Cerberus had been chilling out at a small table in the mix of everything, mostly just because he liked being around people.  In fact, the only reason he'd even consider leaving it right then was for a new drink.  That drink was what caused him to pass Chandra and receive that tempting look, and he couldn't quite resist stopping to see what she was offering.

"Mom?  I'm going to just ignore that one and hope you're both of age, then push forward as though I didn't hear anything," he remarked, having taken a good look at Chandra by now, and he turned his gaze on Delia.  She had a shy look to her, despite being sexy, that he was liking right then.  "Can I get your names?"

And no, that smile he gave them wasn't at all lecherous or interested.  Just friendly.  Totally innocent.  Right.  Hey, he was trying.

Delia Westing

Delia shrank back in her seat as the man stopped, wincing as he spoke. She was 17, and she didn't look it, but she sure acted like it when it came to this sort of confrontation.

Chandra, however, smiled languidly and looked up at him. "Everyone in my family is close, reguardless of our age. I'm Chandra... and you are?" Oh, she was all about talking to strange men. She held her small hand out, looking as sweet and demure as possible.

Delia shrugged at the dark green of her top, the colour that did wonders for her creamy complexion as well as ardent locks, and looked away for a moment. Chandra was embarassing, sometimes. She didn't give the man her name, she just tried to pretend that she was invisible.

He could smell wolf on at least one of them, and strongly enough that he had no doubt in his mind that one or both of them was a shifter.  That was cool with him, but interesting nonetheless.

He shook Chandra's offered hand rather gently, smirking some at the way her tiny fingers were completely swallowed up by his monstrous hand.  "Chandra?  You can call me Cerberus.  Who's your friend?"  His eyes turned to Delia, who was acting even more shy and innocent.  He liked them that way.

"That quiet little thing is my cousin, Delia," Chandra purred, aware that the man's hand engulfed hers. She wondered what else about him was big. Blue eyes flicked thoughtfully across him and then back to the stoich Delia, where a foot went out from under the table to kick her chair.

Both girls had something in common with eachother - and the rest of their family, for that matter. Lustrious red hair. Varying shades, but always distinctly red, and always seemingly spun of silk. They were an easy target, if one would be such the type.

Delia glanced up again, but she couldn't force a smile that wouldn't come. Okay, that guy? He was -huge-. He could pound her into the pavement. And he was scented like.. she didn't even recognize it. It seemed familiar, but it wasn't Pack - not hers, not the O'Rileys.

"Cerberus is from Greecian mythos," she blurted out. Delia was smart, she couldn't help it. "You seem to be lacking heads, though," she offered. It was a sort of 'smart' joke that went right past Chandra's head.

He could have easily shot a perverted joke her way regarding his 'heads', but he wasn't going to risk chasing her away so quickly.  Instead, he smirked, set his drink down, and turned around to pull his shirt up to reveal his back and shoulders.  And the huge tattoo of the doberman Cerberus, all three heads in place.

"I think I have that somewhat covered, Delia," he told her, giving them a moment to see before he pulled his shirt back down and turned around again.  At least he hadn't said anything offensive.  Yet.

And score one for the big man, she thought to herself, unable to stop the small smile from sliding across her face. "Okay, okay, you win," she said. She'd been testing him - she hated stupid people. She had a habit of doing that, and it pissed Chandra off.

In fact, that the man hadn't so much as glanced in her direction sort of pissed her off on its own, but there were more drinks to be had. "Scuse me you two, I'm going to go get a refill. Back in a jiff," she said, smiling broadly and walking away from the table. God, being seventeen and looking like that should be illegal - in fact, it WAS. Chandra was quickly preoccupied at the bar with a handsome fellow, leaving Delia alone with the new shifter.

She sat up and cleared her throat, perking her brows briefly and offering a smile. "Well. She sure knows how to leave a moment right before it gets awkward," she muttered. "Look, I'm going to tell you now - I'm boring. You're probably wasting your time sitting here."

Delia was the portrait of a girl with no self-esteem. But come on.. every other woman in her family was either a sex-pot or independantly wealthy. She and Sheila were the little bookworms.

That smile was proof that he was doing well, so he grinned broadly back.  "Sure thing, babe," he said when Chandra went off to get another drink.  He then turned his attention back to Delia, raising an eyebrow at her in interest.

"Why don't you let me decide if I get bored, okay?" he asked, then shrugged.  "Or, I could walk away and you can sit here all alone to wait for a real creep to walk up and try his luck.  See, I only want to talk and be social."

Of course, he was right.  He wasn't going to do anything to hurt her, or pressure her too badly for whatever he might want.  He was also big enough to ward off other, less savory individuals, so he had two things running in his favor.  Cerberus just wanted to be friendly right then.

Delia Westing

"Okay," she said simply. She'd let him find out for himself. She sat back in her chair, crossing her arms, and tossed some of her fine red strands from her creamy cheeks, becoming annoyed with the wave that Chandra had managed to get out of them.

"I've never even been to this place before. I'm not really a tavern sort of person. I'd rather be fishing." She even had a shirt that said that, too. She didn't mean fishing in the traditional sense, though. She meant standing in the water, wagging her tail, trying to attack the fish at the creek and running around with them in her mouth. Now THAT was fun.

It bothered her slightly when he brought up the potential creeps in the bar, and she lifted a brow to Chandra, who had become engrossed in her conversation with a man that instantly struck Delia as a vampire. She shrugged it off - Chandra was as feral as any of the rest of them, so she'd leave it alone.

He raised an eyebrow at her easy agreement, having expected a little more fight from her, but he was alright with that.  Made it easier on him, since he didn't have to argue with her about it, which might actually bore him to the point that he'd leave anyway.  This was sure to be at least SOMEWHAT interesting, especially since he could still smell wolf rather strongly.

"Really?  Fishing?  You don't look like the sort of girl you see sitting out by a lake with a fishing pole," he remarked, looking at her curiously.  If she'd said hunting, he'd have believed her, but not thought of guns.  Fishing was a bit stranger.

Delia Westing

"Yeah, fishing," she replied, a small smile coming to her face as she thought about how much fun it would be to go run around in the creek right about now. These clothes were stifling. She hated them. She preferred baggy things, honestly - jeans, tees, hoodies, anything that she wouldn't mind getting terribly dirty when she ran around.

"I like walking in the woods, too. Helps me think. We moved here from Maine, so I had a lot of stuff to do there. Man, we had this tree fort when I was younger, it was awesome..." she trailed off. Okay, she sounded twelve.

"Sorry," she blushed. "I guess I'm not your typical girl. I don't really take after anyone in my family, to be honest. My cousin and I are sort of alike, but the rest of them are so different I can't even speak to them without getting frustrated."

The only thing they all had in common was their blood, their bond, and sense of loyalty to eachother when things got hard. Problem was, it took things getting hard for any of them to communicate without yelling!

"What do you like?" She switched topics, trying to take the attention off of the fact that she was definitely too young to be out by herself - not only in age, but also in mentality. Delia was innocent, flat out.

"Hey, relax.  Did I say anything at all that gave you the impression that you should apologize?" he asked, being totally honest.  He liked how normal she was.  Most of the girls he ran into were kind of crazy, but she was so...down to earth.  It was an interesting change.

"I would ask you to go for a walk in the woods, or out to this creek you like, but I don't suppose you'd trust me far enough for that, would you?" he asked, chuckling a bit.  She wouldn't.

"Let's see, what do I like?" he repeated, smirking some.  She had to know he was a shifter by now, so he could probably answer honestly.  "Well, I like it when people throw the yellow squishy football, and bar fights are kind of fun.  Running around in the woods is great as well."  Grin.

Delia Westing

"Yellow squishy balls? Well, then you might like fishing," she said with a smirk. "Basically, it's like this..." and she explained to him what it was exactly that she liked to do. "A knee-deep creek is the best - well, it is for me. For you it might be too much." She took a small jab at his size, but not too terribly offensive, right? He had to know he was huge.

"Nobody else likes to go. My cousins Sheila and Chandra and I used to go, but they grew out of it, I guess. Or, Sheila stopped going outside and Chandra found boys." She frowned.

"Bar fights, though.. I can safely say I hope never to be involved in one of those." Yeah. Delia was as intimidating as a Pomeranian dog. She didn't scare much, not even in wolf form. She was so pretty though. Her silky, short red coat and adorable fuzzy tail.

"It does sound like something I'd like.  If it's not too much for me," he teased right back, grinning.  It really did sound like fun, right down to the 'running around with the fish in your mouth like an idiot' part.  He was cool with being a complete goof, especially in his other form.  Dogs liked being goofs.

Bar fights, though... "Honestly, I hope you're never in a fight like that, either.  Just looking at you, my money would be on the other guy."  He said it in a playful tone of voice, but he wasn't kidding about that.  She was tiny and quite non-threatening, looking more the sort to cower in the corner than fight back.  He didn't want to bear witness to the sort of thrashing she'd get if she was ever in a fight.

Delia Westing

Delia experienced a brief moment of discomfort as he told her quite honestly he'd bank on someone in a fight that wasn't her. She couldn't find herself disagreeing, though, and the little wolf with the red hair gave the large man a small shrug of her shoulders.

"I'm more of a 'slip out the back' kind of person, to be honest. Not a coward, but I can't ever think of an instance where I'd BE in a fight. I just don't see the point in expanding that much energy over someone who doesn't mean a shit to me." Even in wolf form, while she could be viscious, she could easily be taken down if someone had the right means. She was still not fully grown in her animal form, remaining slightly smaller than her mother and aunts.

Delia wasn't really popular in high school for that reason. She just floated through classes, did well, was good at her sports, and kept mostly to herself. Who wanted to be friends with a girl who didn't care what people thought? Not the typical Ramsa High student, that was sure.
