"And that's the best thing for you," he told her honestly regarding her plan to slip out the back in the event of a fight.  Of course, he wouldn't exactly let someone give her a thrashing if he was around, simply because it'd be wrong to allow, but he wouldn't be around her all the time.  He'd only just met her.  It was also best that she wasn't the sort to get into fights often.  It just worked out better, honestly.

"But for those of us that WOULDN'T get pulverized, fights can sometimes be fun," he told her, and he really could have started a fight right then and there to show her, but he opted not to.  For the time being. What with the way people tended to get in here sometimes, he might not even have to work all that hard at it, so they'd have to see.  He DID want to do something, he just didn't know what.

Delia seemed to sense his restlessness, because she stood slowly, trying not to attract Chandra's watchful eyes. "Come on, let's gtfo," she said, sliding her chair back silently.

"I think we can at this point run around and lick ourselves and pick up more enjoymehnt." And she was quite the salty thing! She headed for the door. "Maybe we can find a good spot to walk in the woods. I hear it's nice up here."
