UPDATE: June 30, Pics and the usual

Welcome to the newest Night's Omen update, brought to you by your loving admins, who have worked tirelessly (both of us, I swear it ) to bring you goodness this time around.

Now, some of you may have noticed that the profile page is looking a bit different.  The personal photo was moved, putting it closer to the physical description field in your character biography, and the signature field was moved to the bottom of the page.  The reasons for this are simple: We're giving you all the choice of using larger personal photos and sig banners.  Nobody has to, but it's now an option that the board will allow.  Be sure to take note of the Image Guidelines below in creating your pictures, though.

Personal Photos

• The new maximum dimensions for a Personal Photo (PP) are 350 pixels wide by 600 pixels high.  
• As always, keep the images tasteful.  If I have to define 'tasteful' for you to figure out if a picture should be used, then play it safe and don't use it.

Signatures

• You CAN continue to use text instead of or with an image, so long as the text and image together don't get too big.
• The maximum dimensions permitted for signature banners are 500 pixels wide by 150 pixels high.
• Keep it tasteful, please.

Now, for the usual.  This is what we would and wouldn't like to see in new characters.  


Checklists.

Types of characters we would like to see created:

• SingleEarth members (A cookie to new SE members.)
• Humans
• Frost hunters (Male, preferably. Seriously, it's like, Team PMS right now.)
• Vampires (Younger vampires are preferred. Not all vampires are 748329047 years old.)

Types of characters we would NOT like to see created:

• Falcon shapeshifters
• Characters created solely for one relationship -- regardless of sexuality
• Made-up shifter breeds -- without admin approval for why they exist. If it's not on the shapeshifter list in the information forum, then it requires admin approval.
• Onyx trainees (There ARE other Guilds, you know.)
