I don't think it's weird. Good on them for TRYING to do something green. The only thing bad with it is that not too many people do it so the recycling centers usually pollute more than they recycle. At least that's the rumor.

I have a really hard time taking shows set in my state seriously...I'm just too hard on them. I can't think of any book/movie/show set in Louisiana that I really liked. Shoot one of my friends was raving about True Blood and I gave it a shot since I actually watched them film parts of it in Shreveport...and the hokey accents just pissed me off so bad I had to turn it off. North Louisiana is a completely different beast than the area south of I-10...don't make us sound like them, because we don't. Anne Rice got alot of stuff right historically...too bad her writing kinda sucks, I don't give a damn what lace curtains or candles look like to a new born vampire...at least not enough to read about it for 23 pages.

EDIT: Also, after Harold and Kumar go to Whitecastle I can't take whats his name, the black dude in the show...I think Anthony Anderson maybe, seriously. After the whole LETS BURN THIS MOTHERFUCKER DOWN POOKIE...everytime I see him in a movie or show I laugh my ass off.

So uhhhh yeah, guess I'm necromancing this thread, but hey...I saw that my girl Venom was giving me some props for my Louisiana rant, and the Gaahl info (he helps design lady's summer frocks with his fashion designer partner, and is apparently an important fashion critic in Norway, he also routinely beats the shit out of people) is pretty much spot on SOISOISOISOISOISOI, so anyway, whats up...any plots I could dump any of my characters that I enjoy playing (Frank, Mike, Lothaire, Wilhelm) into?
