The Mojo Lounge is owned and operated by Papa Aristide, a rather unpredictable man.  Make no mistake, he is human, but entering his realm with anything but peaceful or business purposes would be a very big mistake.  He is a Hoodoo priest and an underground occultist with remarkable power, and his motives are rarely made clear on any particular issue.

To most clientele, the Mojo Lounge is bedecked in predominantly red and black, with a bar on your left after you walk in the door, tables strewn throughout the room and a stage on the far right.  It features mostly Southern soul food, with a few less recognizable Cajun dishes thrown in there for 'character'.  Mostly Jazz and Blues musicians find their way to the stage, and a night in the Mojo Lounge is usually a fun, spicy night on the town.

For those with things other than food and music on their mind, Papa Aristide usually has a booth in the furthest, darkest corner of the place reserved for himself, whether he's enjoying a meal or just watching.  Approaching that table may or may not accomplish what you wish, but it's likely to cost you.  Aristide deals in favors, and one day, he just may call in those favors for something decidedly unpleasant.  Barter carefully.

Besides the kitchen, there is plenty more that customers don't see.  Aristide has more back rooms than you'd think were possible from looking at the outside, and besides an office at the end of the hall where he does most of his 'true' work, there are other closed doors lining that same hallway that stink of blood and sex.  Whether anyone wishes to know what goes on in those rooms remains to be seen.
