HELLCAT'S HOLLOW CAN BE FOUND HERE

This is basically to give newbies who haven't got any ideas as to who they want to play either an idea of what's expected from them, or to give them a template to start with. You'll notice some of these are filled out, some of them are not - the names that are stricken out mean that the character is taken or truly not playable, mostly because the staff here is slightly greedy and we become attached to NPCs the moment we icon them.

Moving on. The PBs are suggested mostly, but I myself am pretty good at landing them, so usually upon contacting whoever has created X NPC about playing them is a good time to ask about possible swaps. Not ALL of these are set in stone; they're more or less guidelines for people who can't just braindump a character onto paper like we can - alternately, they're also for people who want to get involved with an organization (SingleEarth, et cetera) and aren't sure how to get their foot in the door.

It should be noted that Midnight NPCs are not going to be tossed around casually; a lot of people view Midnight as the easiest way to start a character, when in fact it is one of the hardest. Please take that into consideration when you are gazing these lists for possible characters.

You'll notice that some of these don't have profiles filled out just yet - it's because I'm too lazy to do it and I'll do it gradually, or because THAT MUCH is really open about them. Honestly, if I start to fill out a template, the character becomes a blob in my sticky hoarde, so I try not to do it. Hence what happened with Veronica. >.>

• Physical Description - Dave is not a terribly imposing guy due to height, as he's only 5'11" and there are much taller men out there.  He's pretty stocky, and definitely solid though, and doesn't mind using that to his advantage.  He has pale skin, blond hair, and blue eyes, his German blood holding through in his coloring.  He has the sort of face that people tend to trust and view as belonging to a very open, friendly person, though he has his secrets, and he keeps them well.  At 47, he's not entirely in the prime of his life, though he likes to live it as such, and certainly doesn't act his age.
  
  His 'other' form is that of a wolf, and due to his coloring, his wolf form has a more blond look.  The fur is more of a tawny gold color, and his eyes also turn more golden, though they keep rather exotic-looking blue flecks.  He's not a wolf to be found in a zoo or wintry forest, that's for sure.
• Personality - Dave is incredibly loyal, for one thing, to any who have earned his trust.  Not being the most trusting of people, this isn't a common occurrence, but it explains his position with Ash Leone.  He's loyal to the man to a fault, and he's pleased that Ash trusts him implicitly to run things and back him up when necessary.  Dave has joined Ash on vampire hunts, and is obviously trained in the use of the weaponry required for such an event, and he is the first person to jump to the witch's aid if anything happens at the Hollow.  The Hollow itself is his home, and has been for many years, and he protects it as such. 
  
  When his home or friend aren't being threatened, Dave is actually a rather friendly fellow.  He laughs, jokes, and teases customers, makes pervy comments, and is generally a friendly person with a nice personality.  He has a temper, and it's explosive if it gets to such a point, but he usually vents with sarcastic comments and leaves it at that.
• History - Dave was born into a period of turmoil, with racial riots and such at his high school as he grew up in New Jersey.  The riots were always something that amused him in a rather cynical way, as he'd always been different from everyone else, being a wolf shapeshifter.  It was a more sporadic 'curse' in his family, his grandfather having had it, but not his father or sister, and and so he was even different from his immediate family.  He saw no reason for riots over differences, but ah well.  He fought his battles through high school, took care of and protected his younger sister and life went on.
  
  He actually  lived a rather active life, and decided between the ages of 16 and 24 that he was going to do everything he wanted to do, and have no regrets.  And so, he did it.  He got drunk, had sex, experimented with drugs, got in trouble, attended concerts, and just about anything else he wanted to do.  At some point though, he knew he had to grow up.  He'd been working random jobs ranging from construction with his father to bartending at clubs in New York City, and that was actually where he met Ash Leone.  He wasn't far from Hellcat's Hollow when he waylaid some vamps intending to 'snack' on some girl, and he of course tried to stop them, thinking them mere human guys.  Of course, he was wrong, and he got his ass kicked, and might have been just another meal for them had Ash not either been passing through or felt something happening and showed up.  Dave was later offered a job and explanations, and he accepted both.  He's been with Ash ever since.
• Weapon of Choice - Himself, or he's good with both knives or a shotgun or most types of pistols.  He likes more old-fashioned weapons over the laser-sighted and such.  Too much complication with the same result.
