Also, I just got my Asus EEE PC in and all configured...it needs a RAM bump from 512 to 1 gig, maybe 2 but other than that I love the little thing, and highly recommend it. I figured Mike's profile would be the appropriate one to announce this fact, plus..I just wanted to log into it. I feel like such a winner with 2 laptops running and my Mac...lolololololol

Excellent....dude this thing is nuts...I only have a 4gb hard drive lol, I barely managed to fit XP, Firefox, AVG and AIM on it...but it would honestly fit pretty well in a normal size cargo pocket in like a pair of pants or shorts...I am ecstatic about buying it and Battlefield: Bad Company this past weekend, and the new Lamb of God DVD comes out tomorrow...and I have Friday off from work..I am in a good damn mood

Good for you.  Inversely, the rest of my week is going to suck.  I work tomorrow, have to go up and learn how to work/close the restaurant on Wednesday, work Thursday and Friday, then pull a 12 hour shift at the restaurant Friday and looks like I'll probably be working Sunday, too. 

No rest for the wicked, I guess.

I'm not dead! (Like P!nk?) I've just been having a bit of a time trying to find a second job to add hours to those I'm NOT getting at my current job (fewer shoppers = fewer of us needed to make them buy things, so fewer hours handed out). Basically I've got too much time on my hands, so I'm too antsy to sit still (and get online). I just feel better about doing fun things when I know the rest of my day has been spent doing something useful. Like making monies.

Second job-ness should be happening soon, though! *crosses fingers*

Sorry I'm leaving so many people high and dry for postage for so long. I fully intend to start picking up some of my own slack by the end of this week, if not sooner. <3

Not to be totally random, but I think everyone should check this out.


This is the neighborhood that Darren and I live in and that's right off of the main road.  It's an old steel mill town.  The only thing I did to that picture is enhance the colors already in it.  Yes, it looks like a horror movie.    In fact, they actually filmed one here recently.  It's called Shelter.

Looks kind of Silent Hill-ish. I miss the North for that effect; the South doesn't have anything quite like it.
