Night's Omen

We are going to be introducing a 'council' to Night's Omen in an attempt to strengthen the shapeshifting community and present them with a touch of a defense, considering how many of Midnight's trainers are obsessed with fond of them.  

This Shifters Council will be a gathering of the different breeds of shifters, particularly the leaders of those groups, as will be appointed by the people and empowered by this council for leadership only of those shifters living in the New York area, with exceptions such as the Serpiente Diente being in place.  It is each of those leaders' responsibility to protect and strengthen the group depending on them, and to bring any serious problems to the attention of the council.  For this reason, candidates must be strong and able to lead.  In game, word of this council as it is formed will likely be spread through word of mouth and from more influential shifters in the Nyeusi community, and the initial threads will be made for involvement.  These threads will be announced here.

The Groups being represented will be broken down as follows:
Avian  
Serpiente
Tiger, Cougar, Leopard, Jaguar
Pakana
Wolf
Lion[/li][/list]Yes, we understand that there ARE other shifters out there, but none of them require representation at the moment, and the few there are would likely attend as individuals.    The Lions are likely to be in the same situation initially, given their low numbers, but we hope to build that up in the future.  This brings me to my next bit of information.  The following leaders have been decided on, though anyone can have their character challenge for leadership when it's called for.  Just be aware that the following information is regarding the final outcome of any challenges.

You MAY create characters for this purpose, and we would particularly like to see Pakana, Lions and potentially hawks.  PM, IM or otherwise contact me with a request/offer to meet one of these needs.

Hahaha, I still think Ridley should be the honorary go-to-guy for the foxes, even though he's the only freeblood fox on this board, as far as I know.  XD

Actually, there's four more free fox shifters ^^; Raphael and Robin Swift (arctic, together with their huge NPC family sans dad), Akahebi Hitomi (arctic, inactive) and Charles Todd (red, possibly inactive).

I doubt any of those would be interested in taking responsibility of others, though, so feel free to be the responsible party ;)
