Murphy (to Lani, Aaron and Taro): I looked at the bar tab this morning. The bartender added a $25 'customer asshole fee'. I have no grounds to dispute it.

"Unfortunately I am not allowed to drink alcohol.  It is bad for the baby."  That caused her to smile a little bit.  Though are first the thought had scared her she had come to terms with it.  It did help though that she was fully convinced that it was Lucien's.  The test said so and she could just feel it.  "I guess I should try but it really is hard.  There are so many things going on though.  It is hard when you are hunter and living in the guild.  There is always something."  She placed her elbow on the bar and rested her chin in her hand.

Sigried was terribly sympathetic - or so she seemed, as she ordered over some juice for the Serpiente woman. She leaned in with interest, drinking in her every word - her eyes were wide and attentive, and Tsunai may have begun to feel as though she were the only person in the room for a moment. Such was Sigried!

"I can only imagine. I can't have children, unfortunately, so I suppose I shall never know what it's truly like. Do you intend to keep hunting or are you on hiatus?"

If she was still taking contracts, Sigried knew people happy to assist to the disposal of the Serpiente. Oh, and what if? Lucien, well, he would be devistated, or she only hoped that he would. Sigried knew nothing of love and desire, not like a couple did, and so this was all some big puzzle for her to undo.

It did him some good that he'd had some time with Sigried paying attention exclusively to Tsunai, since it gave him some time to clear his head.  He was still practically drowning in her very presence, but now he could somewhat think, and he had an answer for THAT question.

"She's on hiatus," he answered for her, not giving her the option to state otherwise.  He wasn't risking anything happening to her.  "Just to be safe."

Tsunai Feleon

Tsunai had opened her mouth to respond to the question when Lucien beat her to it.  She let out a sigh and took the drink that was ordered for her.  "Yeah, I am on haitus.  Lucien would not have it any other way.  I argued with him for a while but he got his way eventually."  She leaned over and kissed Lucien on the cheek.  "He is just looking out for me, though I am bored as all heck."  She took a sip of her drink and leaned against the counter again.

"I have everyone looking after me.  Heck, even Dom somewhat behaves himself."  That much she had to appreciate.  "I know I am going to get tired of being fussed over though I do not think I have much of a choice."

Sasha

Ugh. Sigried hid the contempt from her face as she watched Tsunai talk so freely about being confined and told what to do. There was no way you'd ever catch Sigried following some stupid orders like that, child or no. Pregnancy, she decided finally, was a trap.

"Ah, well, I'm sure it will give you time to explore other hobbies?" She was getting slightly bored with this, and had Ash not been so close she'd have asked them both if they'd like to take up elsewhere. Sigried wasn't sure where she wanted this to go. She'd at least make it a point to get one of them alone at a later date.. Tsunai seemed harder to convince than Lucien, so she'd probably try to work on her.

"Other hobbies.  God you make that sound so boring."  She finished the rest of her drink and set the glass down.  "Though I guess I have no other choice.  At some point I am not even going to be able to dance.  That is going to kill me.  I am all ready going out of my mind not hunting."  It was true.  She had become quite cranky, many had been on the recieving end of her bad moods.  Usually people tried to avoid her now...which just ticked her off more.

"This is a blessing and a curse.  Not sure whether you are lucky or not to never know what this is like."  She could not really say that she was not excited.  She just wished that the thing had been planned...not well...on accident..."I am actually surprised Lucien did not freak seeing me in here.  He has been so protective lately.  This is probably one of the last places he would want me to be.  No offense Ash."  She gave the Triste a smile.  Just with so many different types of people in here it was unpredictable.

He sighed as she whined about it, obviously weary of this conversation.  They'd been over it so many times in the past that he was about ready to bash his head against the bar if he had to do it again, which was why he wasn't about to argue it anymore.  He didn't want to tell Tsunai what to do about anything, but he also didn't want to risk her safety, or the baby's.  Once she'd had the baby, if she wanted to hunt again, so be it.

"Love, we've already been over this.  I'm sorry, I know you're bored, but it would be foolish to risk both you and the baby for a hunt!  Once you feel up to it again after the baby's born, you can take as many hunts as you'd like, just not in the meantime."  Of course, he was only worried about her, and it didn't help his mood about the issue that she spoke about him being protective and such as though he wasn't even there.  Nice.

Tsunai chuckled a bit.  "He speaks.  For a while there I thought you were just going to be a lump."  She knew she was probably getting on his nerves.  She would make it up to him somehow.  She leaned forward and wrapped her arms around Lucien from behind him since he was still facing Sigried.  She rested her chin on his shoulder and gave him another kiss on the cheek.

"Sorry love."  She did feel bad about complaining so much.  She would have to work on it.  If anything just for him.  She smiled a bit.  "Come on Lucien I promise to stop complaining if you promise to lighten up."  To tell the truth she had just been so focused on the vampire for some reason that she had forgotten the Lucien was there.  Though it was not like he was saying much.

((Hope you don't mind, felt I needed a post in here.  If not in the plan tell me and it can be deleted.))

Lucien Cobriana

Sigried had been focusing far more on Tsunai, who had required that attention to fall under her spell, and that had actually allowed Lucien to straighten his thoughts out somewhat.  It hadn't really occurred to him that he'd really lost them, but he'd actually spoken his opinion on what Tsunai had to say, as well as leaning into her touch as she held him from behind.  He loved her, that much was obvious, and amazingly tolerant of anything she did.  Like telling him to lighten up when he really was simply exhausted and weary of the conversation at hand.  He was far more light-hearted and personable when he'd had time to rest properly and his guild wasn't being attacked by vampires and the like.  That was enough to dampen anyone's sense of humor.

Despite the fact that he'd seemed to have tensed and pulled himself somewhat out of his stupor with Tsunai's conversation and touch, he was still facing the vampire, and the instant his garnet eyes rose to meet hers, a long, slow breath escaped him, his body relaxing once more.  This time, he'd relaxed against Tsunai, but that was merely luck on her part.  It had nothing to do with her, and everything to do with Sigried.

He became so lost once again at seeing her that he fell silent, not even caring to respond to what Tsunai had said.  Whether she would take his relaxing to be his answer or notice that something was wrong, he didn't really know or care.  All that mattered was Sigried.

Tsunai Feleon

Tsunai frowned slightly as she rested her head on Lucien's shoulder.  Though Sigried's power was working that did not mean she did not have any thinking power left.  Lucien was so relaxed it almost frightened her.  And the thing was he was staring at the vampire.  Right now it really did not mean anything but when she remembered this later it was going to really lead to something not pretty.  Right now though she was happy just being with Lucien this relaxed.  He had been so tense lately.  "I am sorry love I will try to not complain so much."  It was a promise she would try her best to keep.

"I do not know what you did but I have never seen him so relaxed."  He arms tightened around him a bit perfectly happy to stay there.  "I guess I should thank you.  I have not been very good for that lately.  Well...as you could just see.  I really appreciate you helping him out...even if I do not know what you did."  As far as she could tell right now in her mind everthing was perfectly innocent.  "So thank you...I do not think I ever caught your name.  What should I be calling you?"

Sasha

Sigried smiled broadly, a sort of cheshire thing, which was usually very bad when it came from her, because it was only a prelude to things that usually got her and other people into heaps of trouble.

"Sigried, dear, and the pleasure is all mine," she purred. It was... that name. The way she said it. Whereas normally it would have been pronounced 'Sea-grid', she said, 'Sig-reed', and the 'r' was... just a rolling sound between the first and last part of her name. It was her name, a name of power.

A name.. more often than not on the top of the hit lists for the Guilds, actually. But.. it couldn't be the same woman, could it? Not this lovely Goddess dressed in blue. She was so terribly sweet and charming.

She looked pointedly at Lucien and smiled. "Anything for such a wonderful couple."

I. Dare. You. Her smile said it all.

And this was where it became painfully obvious just how messed up he was on her power.  He heard her name, registered who she was in his mind, and completely didn't react at all like he should.  This was where he should have tensed up and grown suspicious, but he didn't react at all like a hunter.

He stayed right where he was, his eyes locked on hers as she gave him that rather pointed look, and he didn't rise to that bait of hers quite like he should have.  "Sigried.  You're on my list," he told her, sounding entirely too casual about it.  "My own personal list, actually.  I don't send my people after some targets."

And she was one of the targets he'd actually thought he'd save for himself, so he didn't risk any of his hunters.  Smooth move.  Obviously, that had blown up in his face.

Sasha

She blinked in surprise, of course it was all feigned. This is where Ash, who had drawn near, suddenly looked up in surprise, and made it a point to hover in a closer range than before, should the vampire try anything... vampire-y.

"Me? But you can see plainly for yourself, Lucien," she said, drawing out his name with a burst of power on her part. Ah, audio heroin. "You can see as well as Tsunai... I do nothing so offensive as to end up on a... list."

She looked hurt. He'd hurt the wonderful, splending woman. She allowed tears to glitter in her eyes as she stood, leaving money on the bar for her drink. "After I listened to your woes, you insult me so?" She looked at Tsunai.

"I am sorry, lovely, but I simply cannot sit here and be taunted in such a manner. Of the thousands that exist, surely one would share my name." She turned and left the Hollow, pretty much just like that. Once outside, she giggled to herself.

Oh, no.  Oh, no no no.  Damn her!  And damn him for being so caught up in her!

When Sigried reacted like that, the shift in her mood coupled with the unchanging tone of her power hit him like a brick.  He looked a bit surprised and quite displeased with her sudden displeasure and departure, and he'd slipped out of Tsunai's arms and after her with the sort of liquid grace that only a snake really pulled off.  It was entirely different from Ash's feline traits, making it entirely Lucien's.  And speaking of Ash, the triste called out after him as he neared the door, but Lucien ignored him only to catch a few curses from the man.  Not his concern.

Sigried was his concern.

He hit the cold night air and got a fresh breath of air that almost would have cleared his mind, if she hadn't been out there.  He looked to her, appearing to be truly sorry, and he reached out for her to reassure her.  "No, that's not what I meant.  I'm sure it's just someone else with your name.  It was just ironic to meet someone else with the same name," he explained to her, not wanting her to be offended.  She was so beautiful, and understanding, how could he ever offend her?

"Forgive me, I meant no offense."

Tsunai Feleon

Tsunai, even under Sigried's power, was upset that Lucien left her to follow after that vampire.  She sat there for a moment just watching Lucien's retreating back in the crowd before it was gone.  Shaking her head she stood and began to follow him.  She had to see what was going on.  Without the vampire right there her mind had begun to clear a bit.  Something really was not right.  She did not know what but there was something strange going on.  Placing a hand to her forehead she turned back to look at Ash.  He seemed rather upset, which meant that something really was not right.

Shaking her head again she continued on her way to the door to catch up with Lucien.  Right now he was the only one that was on her mind.  He had been so concerned about the vampire.  That was not like him at all.  Her mind was still clouded with Sigried's power even as it cleared.  She gently pushed the door open and silently moved outside.  She really did not want to disturb them if she did not have to.
