Reason: We got rid of our crappy net company (Verizon), and are getting a new set-up, cable this time.  Cable net won't be set up until Wednesday, between 2 and 6pm EST.  I'm 'borrowing' the neighbor's wifi, so hopefully it'll hold out long enough for me to pop in occasionally in the meantime, and there's a Panera I can take my laptop to every now and then, if I'm willing to drive.  I'll keep an eye out, promise.

Reason:  New house with lots of repairs and remodeling to do.  Too busy between work and preparing for the move to get online for very long.  Will be losing internet just before the move, and might not have it until a few weeks after the move.  I've been pretty inactive for the past few weeks for the very same reasons.  Will try to drag my ass out of this hole of inactivity once I'm settled into the new house.

Anyway, so I have finals coming up that I must study for, probably about 60 hours worth of art projects that need to be done ASAP, dorm rooms that need deep cleaning before they'll let me go anywhere, etc etc....

So I'll be gone a LOT for at least another week, possibly longer.

Reason: Just because it's not finals week yet (for a month) doesn't mean the professors can't start having final projects due now. I won't say that I'll be MIA all the time for the next month, but it is getting down to the time when I have to turn in the big papers and projects, and take the big tests.
Mostly, I'd just like to let everyone know that I'm legitimately busy, not simply forgetful or lazy.

This condition will likely persist for most nights, probably for all of April and part of May. We're extremely busy on this end of things. Weekends I shall likely be totally incommunicado. I cannot guarantee that I'll always know why or when I'll be away, but I'll do my best with the time I have here. Your consideration is appreciated.

The word "tonight" shall apply until At Least May 3. That is as specific as I can possibly be. Sorry.

Just an update:  Make that mid-May/early June.  House renovations are taking longer than expected.     I'll be on as much as I can during my few weeks of unemployed limbo between now and Moving Day (whenever THAT ends up being), but I make no promises.  Darren's dragging my ass back here by force, though, so I must obey in whatever capacity I am able.
