Beep. Beep.

"MmnnnnnnfffffNOOOOOOOO."

Beep. Beep.

Shuffling. Smooth, slender legs twined with muscular, hairy ones. Sheets, cool to the touch; soft skin and calloused hands. A mess of pillows and tangled hair and stubble on a jaw not shaved in over twenty-four hours.

Beep. Beep.

"I don't know what it is, but you need to kill it."

"Mmmmmfffff."

"BLAIR."

"COOP."

Beep. Beep.

Twenty minutes pass.

Calloused hands caress silken hips and work along a toned stomach to firm, full breasts.

Nimble fingers cup that more-than-five o'clock-shadowed face as full, bee-stung lips part half a notch to run a warm, wet tongue across surprisingly soft lips.

Beep. Beep.

Hands tangled in mousy brown hair clench down in irritation. "Blair, seriously, your phone is killing me. Please find out what the fuck whoever the fuck it is wants so that we can get back to business."

Groaning, Blair released Coop's face and rolled over, deliberately rubbing against him in a provocative way with her backside as she reached down, slim fingers tracing the thick gray carpet to find the black cord that linked her phone to its charger. Eventually, her fishing expedition paid off - she felt the weight of the phone in her hand and swung herself back up onto the bed, nestling against Daniel's chest as she ran her fingertip across the screen.

"Oh, it's my sister," she said dumbly. "Wait, what time is it even?"

Coop sighed deeply and glanced at his watch, brows knitting over his sun-stung eyes as he tried to avoid assaulting rays of light piercing through the slate-coloured blinds, over which the gauzy gray curtains hung (and did nothing helpful). "Ssssssi-even thirty?" he said, voice lifting up at the end as he struggled to determine if it was six or seven. "Why is she even awake?"

"I - oh, you know what? I bet she gave Nathaniel a ride home," Coop said, blinking his eyes rapidly to try and wake himself up. He accepted the fact he wouldn't be going back to sleep any time soon, so there was no sense in being half-blind from the morning light. At least he knew he was in Blair's bed, naked. Those odds were fucking awesome as far as he was concerned; the hangover he wasn't too thrilled about. Totally not fair that everyone but him was hopping out of bed bright-eyed and bushy-tailed while his head felt like it was going to split in two.

"Makes sense. He had to go down to the station early for - fuck, I don't remember," she said. She'd gotten side-tracked playing Tetris, and her phone made that annoying noise again. "Gah! Fuck, I lost my game," she muttered. She went into her inbox, opened up the message from Iris, and began laughing hysterically.

"Listen to this," she said, sitting up more and clearing her hair out of her face. " 'There's still like 7 beers in the gutter from the roof party we had last night. I don't know how we got up there, but we need to get those beers down."

Coop was quiet for a second, and then looked over at her, eyes narrowed in confusion. "We were on the roof?"
