Eden (to Dania): I'm a little nervous about this St. Patty's Day party. Seriously, we're still finding stuff from the Halloween party.

Bly's first thought, incredibly enough, was of the glass he'd rolled over on the counter. Glass on the counter. Not the glass from the windows that had separated the outer sanctum from the lab-- that had been on the floor. The glass on the counter had been...broken test tubes or whatever. He'd even seen intact ones rolling around with him. Were you exposed to anything abnormal? Bly racked his brain, a rare and painful few moments. Had the beakers and vials or whatever been empty? Or had the surface of the counter been wet? Frig, how was he supposed to know?! He'd been practically sweating blood, THAT had been wet... "How the hell should I know?" he finally groused, shrugging his shoulders impatiently and wiping his nose with his wrist (it itched). "There was broken shit everywhere. And yeah," he went on with a curl of his lip, "I saw the lion in his human form. Huge bastard, musta been at least six-two, six-three...dark hair, I dunno! Whaddya want, I was kinda distracted at the time..."

He accepted the bag from Victor with little enthusiasm, peering at the contents before quirking an eyebrow at the doctor. "Got it, Doc. Ain't never had ta take anythin', but ain't nevah been sick, neither, so really doubt I'm gonna forget." Shit, time to give an outright lie. Had to speak with his usual brash, sardonic confidence. "'Course I got a room. Can I go there yet? Rest oughta help, even if it's a little old-fashioned next to ya fancy pills." There, he hoped that would work-- he really did need to lie down, soon, and it was going to be a bit of a walk to get home. Damn doctor better not stall him any longer.

Victor Batten

Victor regarded him like he didn't really believe what he was hearing, or wasn't satisfied with it, but he finally nodded.  There wasn't much he could do if he wasn't willing to keep Bly in the infirmary, but he was going to end up talking to Cobriana about this one.  If anyone could get cooperation out of this idiot without drugging him up, it'd be that man.

"Fine.  Contact me if anything changes, or if you start to feel worse.  Immediately," he stressed, and he meant it.  Since he didn't know what this was, it was going to be important to keep tabs on Bly and his condition.  Victor would be checking in on him, as well.

He personally wished Bly would put out more effort to be helpful, but Victor would put out the word to Connor that he needed to speak with Skye's husband.  If anyone would be able to hunt down a lion, it'd be him, if he wasn't the lion in question himself.  He waited until Bly was gone to address Keith again, rolling his eyes and returning to his coffee.

"Verde should have shot him somewhere more vital."
