Ke'jaes are falcons without any magic who live on a third island. They can't wear their wings out, like pure diamond and quemak. Basically they're just off by themselves. Ke'jaes are basically considered cripples.

... I'm not sure about the ke'jaes vs ka'jaes thing, sorry. I never delved too fully into this stuff and it's been a while. v_v

Does anyone even get IN chat anymore? Should I bother digging up the URL?

I'm going to put the new url up in the next update, since it expires if nobody's in there for ten days or more.  That'd be us. :)  We DO use it sometimes, so it comes in handy here and there.

So.

I understand ya'll hate me.

So am I unwanted here?  Because if I am, that's fine, but I kinda feel like I should be told.

I also was under the impression that we weren't doing anything new?  But I see new things so I'm just feeling out of the loop.

Again, it's cool since I totally do realize that no one likes me, but I am attached to some things and...

I don't know.

Edit: For the record, I do want to RP here.  I've said that before to Darren, and I've tried to express that, but I felt sort of at a loss.  Now I just feel left out entirely.  Haha.

Why would we do that? As to not doing anything new - why would we do that? This is an RP site, and by definition that's a dynamic sort of environment. Things change. You haven't been active, or even logged on, for quite a while so it makes since that things changed when you weren't here. If you want to get back into the loop then there's really a simple solution - get active. Inactive players tend to sort of get left behind.

As for no one liking you - I haven't interacted with you enough to either really like or dislike you. It's always sort of seemed to be a you're here and I'm here but we never do anything together situation.

Anyway, if you're attached to some things then get active. If you aren't attached enough to do that then... oh well, I guess, but there's really nothing at all I can do for that. Your characters, it's up to you. The only thing for me is that you do seem to start a lot of threads and not finish them, and I do like to finish threads so if you start up again (like all of us have had to, lol) then follow through and finish what you start. It makes plotlines and character development easier, which helps things progress more quickly, which makes everything more dynamic and thus more fun. Plus, it bugs me just to have something sit there, especially if it starts looking like it's going to go cool places.

Anyway, there's my two cents - it's really up to you. Stay or leave, but don't go halfway and just sort of... hover. Hovering would be worse then either of the above, really.

And then for what we're doing that's new - I assume you mean the crackships? That was me and Angie and Darren getting bored one night and getting tired of how inactive the board was, so we started joking around. It led to a huge long list of characters and a random number generator. If you want to be part of that then we could probably throw you in, but if not... whatever, you know? The list that we have at the moment is already done, but maybe we could do another one or whatever. I mean, there's already a LOT of them and just giving that list up would be kind of stupid, given that we've already started working on some, but... you know. Hey. :3

No, no, there's been a complete misunderstanding.

I didn't think new things were going to take place because of stuff that I've been told in the past.  Things like, "We won't do anything new until old things get finished."  I thought that was a strange statement also, believe me, considering that while I understand old things have to be finished to some degree or another, new things should take place as well.  And you weren't the one to say that to me, so I wouldn't expect you to know where that statement on my part even came from.  That was why I put that "I was under the impression."  Just gathered based solely on what I was told.

I didn't ever say that I didn't want to start up again.  I'm not sure if you're going off of the conversation I had with Darren a while ago (maybe?) but it's more or less that nothing was moving and I tend to lose interest after a little while (in plots more than anything).  That doesn't mean, however, that I want to leave.  I do like my characters, most of them, and I understand it's no skin off your nose if I continue or not, but that wasn't what I was asking.

I wanted to know if anyone would protest to me RPing or if I'd get ignored.  I was also wondering why I wasn't updated on things - which wasn't just the crackships since I can see that that's really new, but just the influx in general - although that wasn't directed at you.  Darren and I talk, so I was just surprised to see so much sudden activity without my knowledge.  Not that I mind it - I don't - it just seemed to happen while I had my back turned.  After the day Darren asked me about NO, nothing was moving then or for a while after, so I was wondering also whether or not it would live.

Obviously it is.

I'm not trying to pick a fight and nothing was meant passive aggressively, just to put that out there.  Honest question wanted an honest answer, nothing more.

I repeat: you weren't in the loop because you weren't active. If you want to get back in the loop then get active again.

Easy answer, easy solution.

If you get active then try to keep interest in plots - make them interesting to yourself or something. Some plots can be really, really long-running and it can be a bit jarring just to have them dropped. I, for one, am always at a loss as to what to do afterwards with my character.

Still. You weren't active. If you want to be part of the board then get active. It's entirely up to you - I can do nothing for you here. I didn't say you didn't want to be here, I said that you weren't. If you want to and you're not then - well, you're still not here. Want to doesn't do anything for anyone, and you'll get left behind.

Make a decision, that's all, but if you want to get active then stick with stuff that you start or less people will WANT to play with you, since resolving things that are begun is a good thing to do when you have plans for what's going on.

This was my mistake.  I went about this the wrong way and just reacted with emotions initially.  Thinking about it now, all I should have said was:

Hi guys, I'm here!

I'm gonna start RPing now if that's alright with you.

Since I can't redo, I'll just say that now.  :)

Okay.

Lachlan Williams

If you're avoiding it you won't be in the loop, no matter who you live with, and people won't play with you. That's sort of the way things work around here. You need to be here. You have fun characters and ideas and stuff, but the entire board is not going to sit around and pine after you and not do anything if you decide not to post, because there are other things we can do.

As for leaving plots hanging - yes, we've all left plots, or checkpoints in huge plots, just hanging - or left them alone for years and then come back to post them after all that time. A lot of plots aren't really left hanging, they're on pause. Like that thread with Paris and Belinda that took two whole years to get finished - but it finally did, which was great.

There aren't really any hard feelings or anything on my end, but there is nothing I can do but say this. If you want to play then go forth and play, and try and stick with the threads until they're done. If you lose interest in the threads then you should still be interested in the character development that results from them.

I'm not trying to start anything either; I hate online drama with a violent, passionate sort of hate. I hate all drama, except for the good kind that comes with lights and stage makeup. Really though, I don't get where you're not getting this. Make a decision. It is up to you. If you decide to be active and drop almost all your threads after two posts then people aren't going to pick up your threads anymore. It won't be worth it. It'll sort of be a pity, but it won't be worth it.

Really though, if you're just going to post again saying that you want to be active but feel like you can't be then I'm not going to reply again. There is nothing else that I can say, and I'm not going to repeat myself into infinity. Do what you want to do.

Keith Mitchell

Alright.

But I wasn't asking anyone to pine after me.  lmao  I don't expect that at all.  ;)

Libby Belmont

Okay, I think I hit almost everything (I hit everything I saw).

Soooooooo, if there's anything I missed, feel free to go, "HEY.  LOCK.  YOU MISSED THIS."

And I'll go there.  :)
