Can't help but notice...{Stefan}

Lothaire just couldn't avoid noticing the strange bustle of activity in the last couple of days. Nor could he ignore the things he had heard from other vampires in the city, and from certain sources of Dimitri's. It appeared that Stefan's new house guest might be wanted by not just the NYPD (who really cares for mans pathetic laws?) but the Prince of the Serpiente and all his merry little hunters. While Lothaire wasn't exactly scared by the threat of Midnight vampires becoming targets in the city, what did worry him was their reaction if they found this woman here....in Midnight. Surely they wouldn't storm the place, but if they some how coerced the mortal (and immortal) police into coming here it might get ugly. And Lothaire had several expensive slaves and things here, and not to mention Lily!

Lothaire sat on one of the leather couches in the Lobby pondering what to do. He and Stefan got along fairly well, they respected each other, and didn't test each other. Lothaire was just going to have to go straight to his "friend" and find out the truth about his guest..simple as that. He stood and started down the corridor where Stefan's quarters were. But before he got into the next passage he heard voices headed his way, perhaps he wouldn't have to disturb Stefan after all, sounded like Stefan was all ready out and about. Lothaire sat in one of the fine armchairs lining the hall to await his approach....
