Happy V-Day everyone!  Hope you all had fun with your sweethearts, and here's a nice little update just to show you all how much I have neglected to mention over the past month care.   Right, anyway...

As some of you may have noticed, the unnecessary set of profile fields (that extra one that just clogged up the profile page without actually doing anything) was removed due to anyone having a profile in there moving it to the appropriate location.  Your profiles should look much cleaner, and hopefully everyone will keep them updated and nice.   For anyone who hasn't yet updated profiles, those characters are going to be assumed to be 'Inactive' (since you couldn't afford the love to give them a profile, shame!), and placed into the 'Inactive' group.  No worries, since if you find that you didn't want that to happen, you could always just PM me to get it fixed, update the profile, and it's all good again.  If you're okay with the character being in that group, then everything's good already.   

Everyone with existing characters, please also remember to keep your Player and Character Info updated, such as if you make a new character.  It makes it easy for all of us to keep up with.  Got it?  Awesome.

I'd also like the throw out a welcome to all the new RPers we've been seeing lately, and encourage everyone to keep making them feel as welcome as you've been.  Great to see all the new threads and characters popping up, and here's to hoping for plenty more! 

I'd also like to point out, since I realized that I haven't really made this clear, that anyone desiring access to the Broomcloset forums just needs to PM me.  They ARE still there, so if you had posts there, they didn't vanish, but the forums aren't visible unless you've been placed in a specific group to be granted access.  As long as you can convince me that you're 18 or older (I'm sure we really don't have those sorts of problems here, but just in case...), then you're good to go, and you only need to ask.   Promise, I don't bite.

Finally, and I know this is what you've all been interested in seeing from the START of this post, here are the characters we need, and don't need, at the present time.

Types of characters we want:

• SingleEarth members
• 
  Humans
• 
  Vampires (Younger vampires only. Not all vampires are insanely old, and young vamps can be really fun.  This means 200 or younger.)
• 
  Non-Hawk Avian shifters (Crows and Sparrows, baby!  They're getting so little love!)
• 
  Non-Cobra/White viper Serpiente shifters (Rat snakes, boas and pythons are cool, too!)
• 
  Pakana!  (Come on, hyenas are cool, and these ones are all touchy feely and cuddly.)

Types of characters we don't want:

• Falcon shapeshifters
• 
  Golden Hawk shapeshifters
• 
  Crossbreed shapeshifters
• 
  Made-up shifter breeds -- without admin approval for why they exist. If it's not on the shapeshifter list in the information forum, then it requires admin approval.  Again, I don't bite.
• 
  Onyx trainees (There ARE other Guilds, you know.)
• 
  Old vamps (Anything older than 200 is going to require talking me into it, and it had better be effing awesome.)
• 
  Onyx Hunters
• 
  Anything canon from another fandom
• 
  Anything that doesn't make SENSE.  This is a modern dark fantasy realm, people.  There are no fifteen year olds that can fight vampires, orphans are auto-fail, and superly-asian characters (even non-Asians who are super into the Asian thing are going to fall into this category.  There ARE other cultures.)without a really good profile will be refused.  This is NOT an anime story, and so anime characters will not be accepted.
• 
  Drama Llamas.  Seriously, guys, your character does NOT have to have a super depressing, tragic mary sue past to be interesting.  If you make a character like this, chances are pretty good that I'm going to tell you to tone down the drama and make a less cliched character.  Same with characters purely for smutty situations and ship characters.  Don't do it.  Just, don't.

Alright, I added to the 'Want, Do not Want' section, and have another thing to bring up regarding new characters.

Yes, you have to make up your email addy, or use a different one, for characters after your first.  This is not a big deal, however.  Just use a fake, and send me a PM to let me know the name of the charrie and the email you WANT on the account (if you have multiple charries with that situation, please send them all in one PM).  It may not be immediate, but I'll get our tech admin on changing the emails in the database.
