Well, this was certainly not what Kiyoshi had bargained for. By the time he'd realized that the man wasn't human (or was he? Kiyoshi had stopped keeping count in favour of his own ass), it was a little too late. He swung out with his power, intending to hurt Heather for this, and fell so far short that he may as well have just dropped his guard for nothing. The little sparrow was sitting in total serenity on the couch, first having gone from staring directly at the White Knight to closing her eyes like a good little dove, and a - yes, that was a sick smile of satisfaction on her face. He almost wanted to applaud her for the fact that she was finally showing a personality, and yet?

"What the fuck do you mean you brought 'my friends'?" was what Kiyoshi fully intended to say, but all he got out was, "What the f-"

And then, one appeared. Then one more. Then two. Then three. Then five. Then eight. Thirteen, twenty one, thirty-four, fifty-five, eighty-nine, one-hundred forty-four... and the Fibonacci Revenant just kept coming on. It was an onslaught of every victim that Kiyoshi had ever taken, and after five-hundred plus years, the apartment became... crowded. But the difference between what had Heather running into Eli's arms before and this was that these revenant had absolutely no interest in either Heather or Eli - and in fact, they were somewhat grateful for the opportunity to meet the thing that had sentenced them to live in darkness and hatred. And all they'd had to do for centuries and centuries was just... wait.

The wait, as they say, was over.

"NO!" he yelled, because he didn't know what else to yell. As soon as he opened his mouth, he knew he'd made a mistake. The first victim had been a child, and with a loud and ferocious noise that sounded not unlike a cat being beaten to death, the blue-grey apparition with the blackened eyes and mouth and nails swept forward, grabbing him by the face. It was probably better for Heather that she trusted Eli so implicitly and did not dare open her eyes, because at that moment it would have been some pretty Covenant of the Ark shit. The little boy hooked his hands in Kiyoshi's mouth, prying it open in a way that a mouth should never be pried, and went... inside of him.

And then another followed. And then another. And another.

The last thing Kiyoshi remembered was falling to the ground, choking on the souls of the dead as he vanished into a black ichor that was sure to leave a stain on the carpet.

He re-emerged some time later, gibbering nonsense and scratching at himself to the point where blood was covering his arms and face, beating on the door of a building that, for all intents and purposes, was abandoned. He beat with his fists until they, too, bled, and then beat some more, all the while talking nonsense in seventy languages. Occasionally, he would leave the door to ram himself into the brick wall across from it, shattering the bones in his face violently each time.

And eventually, the door opened, and though nobody came out, Kiyoshi and his friends were certain that they had been invited in.
